It is advised that as a prospective patient, that you should inquire to the qualifications of the therapists that you select or contact. The training and experience of each therapist is different. It makes a difference. It is important who the training physician is or was and how much experience the therapist has. Some therapists may be self-taught. Some therapists have left Reich's views in one way or another. Many call themselves Reichian therapists "a term Reich would not use". Reich called his therapy methods in early years of 1930s "vegeto-therapy" and later in the 1940s-1950s called it "Orgone therapy". Many try to distance themselves from Reich's Orgone work by using this term "Reichian" instead of using the correct term "Orgone Therapy". Inquire about this when interviewing a prospective therapist you may want to work with.
